the swelling continues to go down

Well, we are now a full week post-op and I think that the swelling is really going down. We can see more and more of our boy's face when we look at him.

Jack is stil not sleeping that well - waking up a lot during the night. During the day, he takes many short naps and wants to be held mostly.


When we were being discharged, we were told it's ok to do normal things with Jack and take him out. For some reason I had thought that he would be so fragile and we would want to keep him in all the time. With this in mind, I thought it would be a nice treat for Peyton to go to the pumpkin patch by our home. We do this every year - there is a petting zoo, crafts, a tractor ride, etc. This was Jack's first time at a petting zoo.
