Choc Blood Donation Center

We went today to donate blood for Jack. The donor center would not take my blood since I had an appendectomy 2 weeks ago. Bryan was able to donate successfully and Jack also had his blood typed. We walked over to the new part of Choc to do this. What a beautiful hospital - so bright and cheery. We went down to the basement to the lab and were surprised that this particular place was made possible by the Jessie Rees Foundation. Bryan and I were very emotional upon seeing this place.

(Jessie was a swimmer on the Nadadores and swam with Bryan for two years.)

We have so much love an support around us. Our good friends (the Goodson and Gonzales Families) have offered to donate blood for Jack also. We cannot thank everyone enough for their kind words and well wishes.
