Well, we went to the pre-op today and I think I feel a little more at ease about the surgery. We now know where we are supposed to check-in (at 5:30am... Eeek!) and more of what to expect. I asked silly questions like:
Should I bring diapers?
What should I pack?
What kind of formula do they have - just in case?
When we saw Dr. Jaffurs, he went over the procedure again and talked about Dissolvable Plates that he would be placing in Jacky's head. THERE WILL NOT BE A SPACER GOING IN... No second surgery at 4-6 months. I felt like hugging the doctor. Jack should be more himself in 2-3 weeks and on the road to recovery.
On a side note - Jack is now 17.2 pounds! He is so big. And he is 25.5 inches.
